Terms of use

General

These terms and conditions apply when the user orders products from YDE Areal Oy's online store (also “Arealshop”) at www.arealshop.fi

By placing an order, the user accepts YDE Areal Oy's general terms and conditions. If the user does not accept the terms, he cannot place orders from YDE Areal Oy's online store.

We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions. Before ordering, the customer must read the terms and conditions in force at the time.

The service is owned by YDE Areal Oy / Kaivonkatsojantie 13 C 52, 00980 Helsinki / Business ID 2155334-1.

In all its operations, YDE Areal Oy complies with the regulations and recommendations related to general consumer trade, advertising and marketing.

YDE Areal Oy has the right to suspend the online store if necessary, for example to carry out maintenance work.

The service is aimed at beauty care companies, professionals and private users.

In the online store, each product sold is described with product text and product images.

Pursuant to the Copyright Act, all image and text materials presented in the Arealshop online store are the property of YDE Areal Oy and may not be copied, modified, redistributed or distributed without the written permission of YDE Areal Oy. Finnish law applies to the resolution of disputes in the event of a copyright infringement.

 

Liability of the Service Provider (YDE Areal Oy)  and the User

  • YDE Areal Oy is responsible for all information (images, texts, prices) presented in the Arealshop online store and that they comply with Finnish law.
  • YDE Areal Oy has all the rights to correct, change and update the content and / or prices and delivery costs and / or terms of the online store without prior notice to the user.
  • YDE Areal Oy is responsible for all personal data collected by it. They are for internal use only, mainly for statistics and technical services. YDE Areal Oy does not disclose information to third parties.
  • The user must be at least 18 years old when doing business in the online store.
  • The user undertakes to use the Arealshop online store only in accordance with the instructions.
  • The user undertakes to provide truthful personal information about himself when registering in the Arealshop online store.
  • The user has the right to request the correction, deletion or blocking of personal data if it is no longer needed.
  • The user accepts the changes made by YDE Areal Oy to his customer base.

 

 

Prices

The prices of the products given in the online store are stated in euros and include the current VAT, which is currently 24%. Prices do not include handling or delivery costs.

 

Registration

The user must register to start a customer relationship by providing Arealshop with the basic information required for registration. YDE Areal Oy reserves the right to check the User's creditworthiness before opening a customer relationship and at any time before the delivery of the products.

YDE Areal Oy can register contract customers (PRO) by creating a username and password. The user must change the password and enter all the basic information when logging in for the first time.

Some disposable supplies, such as cleaning cloths, can be purchased by the User without creating an account in the Arealshop online store.

 

Binding nature of the order

Products are generally ordered via the Internet at www.arealshop.fi via the shopping cart. An order binding on the parties is created when the user receives the order and delivery confirmation to the e-mail address provided by him. Orders placed on a Friday, Easter or public holiday will be confirmed no later than 18:00 on the following working day. As of March 6, 2017, the minimum order amount is 10 euros.

 

Delivery terms

Products and their postage will be paid when ordering.

There are four possible delivery methods for our products:

  1. Freight transport to Helsinki, Vantaa and Espoo

YDE Areal Oy delivers the products and services ordered by the User only to the Helsinki metropolitan area (Helsinki Vantaa, Espoo), unless otherwise agreed with the User. Shipping is free of charge if the amount of the order exceeds 30 euros. Delivery to home or work in Helsinki is carried out on Thursdays from 11 am to 5 pm. If the order amount is less than 30 euros, the freight will cost 10 euros.

If the delivery date is different from Thursday, Arealshop will notify the User separately. The user must provide all necessary explanations of the address when ordering.

 2. Pickup from stock

The user can pick up the order after receiving a separate notification that the order is packed and ready for pickup. Our warehouse is located at Vanha Porvoontie 231A, gate E1, 2nd floor, 01380 Vantaa, Finland. Opening hours: Mon - Fri 9-16. Proof of identity must be provided at the time of ordering with certificates issued by the police:

driving license if the person can be identified by the image

If the order has been paid for online, the subscriber can authorize another person to pick up the package.

Warehouse staff do not present products and do not receive payments.

 3. Matkahuolto Lähellä-paketti - 10 euros

The order will be delivered to Matkahuolto's or its agent's office within 3–5 working days of receiving the order confirmation. The service includes electronic arrival notification via text message or email.

4. Matkahuolto Jakopaketti - 15 euros

Delivery method to the business address. If the consignee is not reached, an arrival notice will be left for him or her and the shipment can be picked up from Matkahuolto's station or the agent's office.

You will also always see the delivery costs in the Shopping Cart before sending the order.

If the delivery and billing addresses of the order differ, please indicate this in the Additional information field of the Shopping Cart.

 

Payment

Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) cooperates with Finnish banks and credit institutions as the provider of the payment intermediation service and the payment service provider. Paytrail Oyj appears as the payee on the bank statement or card invoice and forwards the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj has a payment institution license. In the event of a complaint, please contact the supplier of the product in the first instance.

ApplePay

The contract customer (PRO) can choose to pay via invoice. The invoice is included in the shipment and is due within 14 days. The default interest rate is currently 7.0% under current legislation.

If the delivery and billing addresses of the order differ, please indicate this in the Additional information field of the Shopping Cart.

 

Cancellation and return

The user can cancel their order by contacting customer service. The user has a 14-day exchange and return right in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. The user pays the postage for the return. The right to return only applies to unused and salable products in the original packaging.

According to the return, include the following information:

We do not accept returns more than 14 days after delivery. Once the refund is approved, the money will be refunded directly to your account upon receipt and processing of the refund.

 

Force majeure

YDE Areal Oy is not responsible for delays in delivery or loss of the order package caused by a third party or any other insurmountable and unforeseeable force majeure mentioned in the contract of carriage.

 

Transport insurance

YDE Areal Oy is responsible for any damage to the product between its warehouse and the user's pick-up point. If the product has been lost during transport, damaged or the wrong product has been delivered to the user, the user must report the error immediately to info@arealshop.fi, by calling customer service on 09 424 51315 or by post.

Notification of incorrect delivery or defective product must be made within 14 days of receipt of the product. If the package is damaged in the mail, a complaint must be made to the product in the mail immediately.

 

Restriction

YDE Areal Oy reserves the right to cancel an order due to an error such as a typographical error, technical problem or mass order.

YDE Areal Oy reserves the right to exchange the ordered item (eg cloth or gloves) for another similar product if the ordered product has run out. In this case, the user has a full right of return.

If necessary, YDE Areal Oy may cancel the order or refuse a regular customer relationship. Abuses are always reported to the authorities.
